Flight Training Services

The Initial Experience

Modesto, Stockton, Lodi, & Sacramento Flight Instruction: A Student Takes the Controls...When training with Pilotinside.com, you’ll experience a level of professionalism that is unmatched. You will begin an amazing journey, an experience that you will remember for your entire life! If there is any advice we can offer, it is to pace yourself and not rush your pilot training experience! You will have many great years to fly without a flight instructor so take your time and learn all that you can while we are still in the cockpit with you.

Safety is our absolute number one priority. As such, we are in the business of delivering wisdom which only comes through time and experience. If you plan on rushing your pilot certificate you may have come to the wrong flight school. We do not teach faster or slower than other schools, but we do teach more thoroughly which requires added disclipline on your part. If safety and wisdom are the most important things to you, then you have come to the right place!

Other flight schools will teach you only what is required, only what is absolutely necessary to pass the test for the certificate or rating sought. We don’t believe our students should have to learn through testing nature with trial and error after they become a pilot. We want you to enjoy the luxury of many many safe and adventure-filled years of flying. That’s why we focus on the mistakes other pilots, including ourselves, have made. We won’t let you make the same mistakes.

Where We are Located

Our flight school, located in the lush valley of Northern California provides for an excellent atmosphere to learn in. There is rarely a day that isn’t perfect for a flying lesson. Even when the weather isn't the greatest, our lack of terrain in the area makes for an excellent and safe place to earn your instrument rating! Our primary service location is Lodi Municipal Airport, located between Lodi and Galt along the west side of Interstate 99 at Jahant Rd. Appointments and lessons can be scheduled twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week on our flight school page for any of the airports listed above.

Pilotinside.com is headquartered in a renovated hangar at the Lodi Municipal Airport. Our flight hangar serves as the meeting ground for students and flight instructors by appointment only. We have everything needed to conduct a thorough lesson, including the classroom. When you schedule a lesson or a scenic flight with us, a flight instructor will meet you at the airport.

Modesto, Stockton, Lodi, and Sacramento, Scenic Tours and Aerial Sightseeing! The quotes and prices published here are realistic estimates as to how much a particular certificate or rating will cost. Be careful of other flight schools that advertise super low prices on a banner or in an advertisement. These prices are to get you hooked and in the door and serves as an absolutely unattainable best-case scenario. The advertised prices are on average nearly 30% less than what you will actually pay.

Please take a look now at the services in which we have to offer. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact us by telephone at: (866) 63-PILOT (74568), or by e-mail at: mail@pilotinside.com. **Flight Instruction for the Multi-Engine or Instrument rating is $45.00 per hour.
‡Only 3 hours in preparation for the test is required, however most pilots do not have all the pre-requisites completed when beginning training for the Commercial Certificate (i.e. the applicant must have 10 hours in a complex aircraft).

In comparison to the true prices you will pay at other flight schools, our prices are extremely competitive, considering the aircraft you will be flying is more than 20 years younger than at other schools. By chosing Pilotinside.com as your flight school, not only will you save money, but you can rest assured that you are training with a team that truly cares about your safety, both during training, and in the many flight years that follow!

One of the greatest benefits of training with us is you can pay as you go! Forget paying large sums of money up front. If that isn't enough, we have many ways that you can continually save money and stay motivated throughout your training.

  1. If you purchase 20 hours up front, you get 1 hour free. This amounts to 5% off the bottom line!
  2. Pass your written exam(s) with a 90% or higher and get one hour of ground instruction for the checkride preparation free!

If you are still interested in more ways to save money, checkout our Guaranteed Flight Training Options Below!

Guaranteed Flight Training Packages

Guaranteed Flight Training as its name implies, a guarantee that you will get that certificate or rating that you are seeking. Pick a Package, pay for it up front, and as long as you make it to at least 80% of the lessons, we guarantee that you will pass your flight test. If you don't, your flight instruction fees are completely free until you do pass. All you will need to pay for is the plane. In order to qualify you must be available indefinately during the week and be fully committed to flight training.

Miscellaneous Information

Most flight training in Northern California takes place through Flight Schools. They have tremendous overhead, heavy insurance premiums, secretaries, and flight instructor salaries to pay. Flight clubs which are non-profit organizations that own aircraft, rent them to pilots who become partial owners of the aircraft when becoming a member. There are tremendous insurance benefits when flying with a club, and most flight instructors are free-lance which means you save in more ways than one! However, sometimes finding a flight instructor or school that can teach or instruct in one club versus the other can be quite difficult. To make it easier on our clients, Pilotinside.com is a proud member and certified to instruct in the Golden Wings Flying Club.
